The long and short of it is this: if these so called “job creators” can’t stand to have their taxes increased, what the fuck have they been doing the last 3-4 years?
stfuconservatives:
Oh that’s right, working their reduced staffs even harder (and achieving a similar output for less money) with absolutely no incentive to hire more. Simply put, if the rich having more money resulted in more jobs we wouldn’t be having this discussion. End of fucking story.

Haha. I said basically this same thing to my mother today while we were out having lunch. We actually had a discussion about politics where she ended up agreeing with me that rich people control too much of the wealth and have too big of an influence on politicians, and “something needs to be done” about it. Now, my parents are usually very pro-business/pro-capitalism/pro-rich people in general, so this is either evidence that I have developed my rhetoric skills considerably or maybe that my opinions are more fact-based than theirs and they can’t go on denying reality forever…hmm…
It’s just a nice change from what my parents would usually tell me during these sorts of conversations, which is that when I “mature” and when I’m out in the “real world” a few years I will “wise up” and see the error of my ways, which will lead to me turning Christian, republican, conservative, and capitalist. I think that is probably the most insulting thing someone can say to a young person who has actually put a lot of thought and research into developing their worldview, especially coming from people who have never put any thought into politics or economics besides listening to the talking heads on the news or AM talk radio and voting for anyone with an “R” by their name because that’s what their mom and dad always did.
…anyway. I have some work to do.
